
In Act 2 of Inscryption, you choose to either start with a Beasts deck, Dead deck, Magicks deck or Technology deck. The battle gameplay is pretty similar to Act 1s however there are a few changes. With the Technology, Magicks and Dead deck being introduced there are a few new mechanics such as Energy, 1 Energy generates per turn and Technology cards will use Energy to Activate or for Cost to be played. Gems are added for Magick cards, most Magick cards have a cost of either an Orange, Blue or Green gem, gems can also apply buffs to certain Magick cards. In Act 2 you can see exactly how much is going to tip your scale above it, you can also see how many blood sacrifices you currently have. The introduction of the Dead deck also gives more use for Bones. Act 2 introduces a Hammer which allows you to make any of your own cards perish instantly during your turn. On the right of the board you’ll be able to see descriptions and summaries for cards as you click on them. Act 2 introduces cards that can be Activated when certain requirements are meant with the press of a button on the card.
